Changes to how links are formatted in the website editor

We've updated the way content is formatted to make things clearer and easier to use.
Previously, linking to different types of content—like files versus products—required using a mix of special characters that could be confusing. For example, files used # and !, but linking to products involved more unusual symbols.
With the new format, everything follows a simpler, more consistent structure. It also gives us a cleaner foundation to grow and add new types of content in the future.
Adding links to pages on your own site
To add link to pages on your website we now use the format below. You can find page ids at the top of each page when editing or in your page list in the pages section in the website editor.

Adding links to files in your file store
To link to files in your file store, we now use this format. You can find file ids in your file store list within the website editor.

Adding links to products
To link to products on your website, we now use the following format. You can find your product ids inside each of your products on your website.

Adding links to properties
If you have our Properties package, you can also add links to your properties using the following format. You can find your property ids inside each of your properties on your website.
